Shawn & Keyen's Wedding at The Stanley

Shawn and Keyen tied the knot on December 12 during their wedding at The Stanley in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. When COVID reared its ugly head, these two pressed on with their wedding plans. They didn’t let a diminished guest list, cold drizzly weather, or a rip in the best man’s pants get them down.

Shawn and Keyen met on the job while working at Top Golf together. They continued to grow closer with every shift they worked together.

When we asked Shawn how he popped the big question, she told us, “We got engaged on October 27th 2019. I told Keyen I wanted to take fall photos together, so he let me know he had a friend that would take them. He told me to pick the date and he would get it set up. Little did I know he was setting it all up for a proposal at the fountain at Mill Creek Park by the Plaza.”

At Robot Monster Creative, we produce handcrafted wedding videos that reflect the personalities and feelings of couples on the most important day of their lives. Creating an easygoing experience for our brides and grooms that results in films that they will enjoy for a lifetime is our main goal.
