The Silvers said “I do” in front of their family and friends during their wedding at The Farms at Woodend Springs on October 25, 2019.
It was a love that first kindled in an unlikely place, Best Buy. Even though Alexandra and Jake both looked forward to their shifts with each other at the store, neither one was bold enough to make the first move. That didn’t happen until two years later. Jake had already moved away to Pittsburgh, but a Snapchat selfie got them talking again and Alexandra decided to pay him a visit.
Fast forward to later in their relationship. Alexandra made plans to attend a friend’s birthday dinner. Another friend of hers offered to drive her. The two somehow ended up at Loose Park where Jake was waiting to propose to his best friend. Had had organized the surprise event so that both his family and Alexandra’s family were present. When Alexandra got there, her Dad opened the car door and walked her over a little bridge where Jake patiently waited for her. There were candles, a little lake, and a light backdrop. Jake got down on one knee and she said yes.
