It’s Kansas City wedding musical! With a background in musical theater and choreography, Mindy had a wild secret desire for her upcoming wedding. She wanted to write, produce and star in a musical love story about how she found her “Prince Charming.” Luckily for her, the right guy came along. As a romantic who will do just about anything for love, Brice agreed to be her co-star.
The two said “I Do” on August 3, 2019 at Cross Points Church in Shawnee, Kansas. Following their performance, they moved the party to The Church KC, where they continued to dance and celebrate.
By far, this is the most unique wedding we have ever filmed. Brides and grooms have a hard enough time just writing their vows, let alone an almost three-hour wedding extravaganza complete with music and dancing. They had more costume and clothing changes during their big day, than most people have in month. Also, they pulled off another first for us: a unity ceremony montage. They couldn’t decide whether to light a unity candle, tie the unity ropes, build the unity cross, make a unity peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a variety of other unity practices during the wedding ceremony. In the end they decided to do practically every unity ceremony possible backed by a different song. Kudos to Mindy and Brice for pulling off their Kansas City wedding musical!
