Gardner Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.

Every year, the City of Gardner, Kansas celebrates the life of Martin Luther King Jr.  We’ve worked with them over the last two years to help promote the events they put on in his honor.

Usually the city puts together an exhibit in the city council chambers for local kids and adults to walk through.  It’s an amazing experience that rivals what you might find at a big museum with interactive activities, video, photos, and commemorative items for folks to take home.

This year with the pandemic, Gardner had to cancel the exhibit, but they are still proclaiming Martin Luther King Jr day and a day of service on Monday, January 18th, 2021.  Mayor Steve Shute urges citizens of Gardner to not only pay tribute to Dr. King, but to also engage with their community and serves others.

We here at Robot Monster Creative would also like to challenge everyone who sees this to remember the life and legacy of one of the most influential figures in the history of the United States.

We also produced a video last year for Gardner to promote their MLK exhibit.  Special thanks to Daneeka Marshall-Oquendo for her tireless work to put this year event together. Her efforts should make every member of the community proud to call Gardner their home.
