As we wrap up all of our films from 2019, check out this video featuring some of our favorite moments from our best Kansas City wedding films of the year.  While we were putting it together, a few things stuck out to us…

DIVERSITY OF WEDDINGS

From the Tobacco Barn Farm in Holt, Missouri to The Guild in downtown Kansas City, we had the opportunity to witness an amazing variety of ceremonies, couples and locations.  Whether it was a traditional Catholic ceremony in a big beautiful cathedral or an intimate party for a few family and friends in the Crossroads, we were constantly overwhelmed by the love and support we witnessed throughout all of the weddings we filmed.  We captured the signing of ketubahs, a full wedding musical production, a groom pulling off a rad skateboard jump over his bride and more dad tears when they see their daughter wearing a bridal gown for the first time than we can count.  What a ride!

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DID WE FILM?

32 brides had us capture the most important day of their lives.  Holey moley, that’s a lot of weddings!  We learned several things from booking that many dates in 2019.  For starters, producing that many weddings takes a ton of work. We were so hungry to book weddings that we didn’t really think about how we would deliver all of those films on time.  It took discipline and planning to make sure all of our couples received their videos within the 2 months we promised them.  That’s something we’re very proud to tell our brides.  We take our promises to clients seriously.  Also, we had a 100% rate of satisfaction.  Nothing makes us more nervous than sending brides links to their new videos and then having to wait for their responses.  You never know if they’ll like the music or if they will be upset that their second cousin didn’t appear in the video or if they want more footage of their flowers or… you get the idea.  So far, all of our couples have loved their wedding films and we couldn’t be happier.

FINGERS CROSSED 2020 GOES AS GREAT AS 2019

For our first year as a full-time wedding film company in Kansas City, we can’t thank everyone who helped us make it amazing.  Thank you to the families who invited us into their lives to capture all of these special moments.  Thank you to the vendors who helped us out along the way and made wedding days fun.  And finally, thank you to all of our friends who share our wedding films on social media.  We can’t wait to see our best Kansas City wedding moments from 2020!
